Wum-Bu road reopened after a decade of untold sufferings.

On Monday January 30th 2017, the Lord Mayor of Wum council, Dighambong Anthony,  and his development partners, officially received the long forgotten Wum-Bu road that was recently rehabilitated thanks to funding from 2016 Public Investment Budget through the Wum council. Where a road passes, development follows an old adage says. Since then the 13.6 km stretch of road is now passable and this to the satisfaction of the population. The technical team made up of the ministries of public works, public contracts and even a representative of the S.D.O, took less time to inspect the works done, appreciated them before officially handing them to the Wum council. Bu village is once more connected to the divisional head quarters.
