Education stakeholders in Menchum called to shun fear and send children back to school.

The Cameroon government has not relented in her efforts to see that children are educated. These efforts are seen through the constant dialogue both at home and abroad to see into it that our children, go back to school come September 4th 2017.
It is in line with these efforts that parents through their PTA presidents, Principals of High Schools and colleges, Head Teachers, in a nutshell all education stakeholders in Menchum Division, met to evaluate the failed 2016/2017 school year, while mapping out strategies to enable an effective and successful take-off of the 2017/2018 school year in Menchum.
Chaired by the Kamga Charles, Senior Divisional Officer for Menchum, the take home message was the unconditional released of those detained in Yaoundé. The SDO simply said he was going to transmit this worry to hierarchy.

Education stakeholders keen at the meeting.
The outgoing Divisional Delegate for Secondary Education, Young Benjamin and the Divisional Delegate for Basic Education, Moulioum Fenafe Olivier, presented a bleak picture of the failed 2016/2017 academic year with appalling results that had nothing to write home about. Just like it’s often said, every dark cloud has a silver lining. The silver lining in this situation has been the excellent results of the francophone exams and the end of course exams of the Government Teachers Training College GTTC Wum.
Education stakeholders were called upon to shun FEAR and send back their children to school.
