PNDP SHARPENS THE SKILLS OF PERSONNEL OF ENGLISH SPEAKING COMMUNITY RADIOS

The staff and members of the management committee of Wum community Radio are sharpening skills in order to effectively impact change in their community. This is as a result of an inter-regional training workshop, organized by the National Community Driven Development Program, PNDP, for the newly created community radios in the North and South West regions of Cameroon. Opening the workshop, the Inspector of services at the South West Governor’s office, called on all the participants, to judiciously use knowledge acquired, and contribute to the development of our various municipality. The PNDP National coordinator, Marie Madeleine Nga, underscored the importance of proximity radios in the advancement of our society and our nation as a whole.
Participants were drawn from Alou and Bangem community radios in the South West region and Nkor and Wum community radios in the North West Region.
